The Flag of the City of Spruce

“In our flag of Spruce City a cross in the middle represents God and country, with the white symbolizing purity and the beginning of our new city.  The stars represent the original twenty-six members of the city of Spruce, and the red backgrounds represent the blood shed by the men who fought and died to defend our city.  The stars being blue represents the sky’s limit.  The four spruce trees of our flag are used to symbolize the city of Spruce and the Evergreen State.  Lastly, underneath each spruce tree is a phrase in Latin that is important to our community, Abiegnis Potnia (Spruce Power), Carpe Diem (Seize the Day), Fortuna Juvat (Fortune Favors the Bold), and Victoria Infinita (Endless Victory).”
